The goal of the game is for players to gain popularity by acquiring the most friends on the board. Players acquire friends by using a variety of social media posts that cater to desired friends’ interests. In order to win, players must Re-Present themselves according to what they think people will like in order to gain popularity and influence

“The Bait, The Weight, The Trap” A series of posters based on how social media users compare themselves to other users they see and pressure themselves to portray an idealistic lifestyle for others. The posters use greek sculptures as they are idealized depictions of the human body. The use of greek sculpture is also a play on the saying “set in stone” as anything on the internet is there forever.

ALGORYTHM is a kinetic type music video montage offers an introspective look on our consuming of social media through the perspective of our phones. Throughout the video a conscious phone is communicating the dangers of overconsuming social media. Eventually leading to the destruction of our phones. However, there is no escape. Our information and data will constantly be collected by other users and the technology around us constructed into algorithms intended to maintain users hooked.
