Summary:
Conceptualized and co-led two large-scale, sensory art experiences combining astrology, elemental theory, and multi-sensory environments to spotlight 45+ emerging artists. Zenergies aimed to challenge the boundaries of traditional galleries while fostering deeper community dialogue around identity, spirituality, and the senses.

Zenergies 1 (“Born Under a Sign”): Designed 12 zodiac-themed rooms that combined visual art, scent, sound, and lighting based on astrological energies

Zenergies 2 (“The Elements”): Reorganized the show around 5 elemental environments—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether—each with custom-built installations and performances

Managed programming, vendor partnerships, spatial layout, and experience flow from entry to exit

Summary:
Led hands-on sneaker customization courses for Newark youth through Dirty Soles Foundation’s “Art of Shoe Making” program, blending design fundamentals with personal expression. Taught students how to transform sneakers into wearable art while fostering creative confidence and cultural pride.

About
Kevin aka Kebin is an interdisciplinary graphic designer and fine artist specializing in illustration, and photo/video editing. As an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, he integrates academic knowledge with practical applications to inspire the next generation of creators.
His work primarily focuses on sneakers, using pop culture references to entertain and challenge social norms. At Dirty Soles Footwear, he leads sneaker customization courses. During his time at VaynerMedia as a Senior Content Creator, he honed his skills in videography, project planning, and social media management.
A talented painter, Kebin enjoys customizing his wardrobe and approaches each project with enthusiasm and dedication, constantly evolving his personal style. Outside of design, his interests include anime, ancient history, mythology, 70s R&B, and getting a good pump at the gym.
